SDEA x Morplan

Join us in-store for an exclusive Visual Merchandising Workshop with International Creative VM Consultant, and course tutor, Barbara Chapman.

We are hosting four full day workshops this May, designed to help independent retailers and business owners identify their brand proposition and learn all the tips and tricks about how to execute them in your own store.

With over thirty-five years’ experience in store visual merchandising, Barbara is thrilled to be able to offer these intimate sessions, with a maximum of 15 attendees, in collaboration with Morplan to pass on her skills and knowledge and help you make your retail space shine!

Course Overview

As a highly experienced International Creative & VM consultant and Associate VM Lecturer, with over thirty-five years of experience, Barbara’s aim for these one day workshops is to empower small local businesses with knowledge that through best VM practices we can improve commerciality in their stores, enhance their customers experience whilst they are there (IRL & online), build greater relationships with their target consumer, and ensure returning custom. In order to do this, we will cover exactly what successful visual merchandising looks like, discuss its vitally integral part within a commercially successful  brand strategy, help the attendees to discover and understand exactly what their brand identity is and ensure that in the future every commercial decision they make for their businesses truly reflects that brand identity in a cohesive way across all channels. This is a proven strategy followed by many commercially successful brands and can be utilised across both small and large businesses alike. We will also be covering some basic practical VM skills on mannequin handling, dressing back wall and floor configurations and creating impactful, engaging and commercial window displays.
